The department’s mission is to ensure the sound financial management of dollars the City receives and spends from and on behalf of our citizens and customers.
Accounting Section
The Accounting Section performs fiscal functions for the City in general, for operating departments and the public. Activities include accounts receivable, accounts payable, vendor relations, budget management, general ledger maintenence, investment management, fiscal reporting and payroll administration.
