Residential garbage containers are picked up Monday through Thursday for once-a-week pickup service.  Please roll out your container to the curb in front of your house the night before your pickup day.  Once your container has been emptied, please move your container to the back of your house.

RESIDENTIAL GARBAGE PICKUP SCHEDULE 

The City of Lancaster offers a backyard garbage pickup service for elderly (over 75 years of age) and disabled citizens.

APPLICATION FOR BACKYARD PICKUP SERVICE

Sway cars are offered to City reisdents to use once a month at no fee for household cleanup projects.

APPLICATION FOR SWAY CAR

Commercial garbage containers for businesses are picked up five days a week - Monday through Friday. 

Construction dumpsters are available for major repair jobs and new construction.  These containers are only scheduled for delivery, pickup or emptied Monday through Thursday.
