As part of Lancaster County, you have been identified as a potential community partner in supporting our fire and life safety programs. Last year, our state suffered 101 fire fatalities.
Reducing ignitions can reduce fire fatalities. There is need in out community, and others across our state, to work together to promote fire and life safety messaging. In fact, 70 percent of homes in our state do not have adequate smoke alarm coverage. A majority of fire fatalities involve human factors we can prevent.
