Beginning Tuesday, October 24, Habitat for Humanity of Lancaster County will be accepting applications for our next Habitat home. If you are interested in becoming a Habitat homeowner, you are invited to an informational meeting on Tuesday, October 24, at 6:00 p.m in the Fellowship Hall at Mt Zion AME Zion Church, 317 East Barr St. in Lancaster.  At the meeting, you can pick up an application and ask questions.

Also starting October 24, applications will be available at our office, located at Covenant Baptist Church, 165 Craig Manor Rd., Lancaster, during regular church office hours. If we aren’t in the office, applications will be in a rack at our office door. Downloadable applications and guidelines will also be posted on our website, www.habitatlancastersc.org; and on our Facebook page, www.facebook.com/habitatlancastersc.

Habitat for Humanity abides by the Fair Housing Act and does not discriminate in the selection of homeowners on the basis of race, creed, gender, disability or any other characteristic protected by law.

Our goal is to offer a hand-up, not a hand-out, and provide decent, affordable housing for lower-income families who could not otherwise qualify for a mortgage loan.

The deadline for submitting your application is Tuesday, November 7, 2017 by 5 p.m.
