Hurricane Relief press brief

On Saturday morning, Sep 22, JAARS, Inc of Waxhaw, NC will dispatch three aircraft to the Raleigh-Durham International Airport to support Operation Airdrop and hurricane relief efforts in eastern North and South Carolina.  The JAARS mission is to make Bible translation and language development possible, especially in the most remote and difficult places on earth. We do that by enabling locally appropriate and sustainable solutions in transportation, technology, media, and training.  Known for our aviation assets JAARS is particularly suited to aid in disaster response.  Operation Airdrop formed following Hurricane Harvey in south Texas in 2017 as a means to utilize General Aviation aircraft in support of those in need following natural disasters.

The JAARS aircraft will depart the JAARS Townsend Field in Waxhaw, North Carolina at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday morning.
