The Vivian Major Robinson Classical Music Concert Series and the Lancaster County Council of the Arts are pleased to announce they are partnering with WDAV Classical Public Radio to open WDAV’s 40th anniversary celebration.  Led by Charlotte Symphony Orchestra Concertmaster, Calin Lupanu, a string quartet of sumphony members will perform on October 29, 2017, at 2:30p.m., at the Cultural Arts Center, 307 W. Gay Street, Lancaster, SC. Admission is free, but tickets must be reserved in advance, due to limited seating.

Immediately following the concert, you are invited to continue the celebration at a benefit reception from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., at Craig House, 1859 Craig Farm Rd., in Lancaster.  The reception, open to all, is especially for WDAV’s Lancaster, Rock Hill, and Fort Mill listening audience.  Hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be served, and guests can meet WDAV general manager, Frank Dominquez; on-air hosts, Matt Rodgers and Mike McKay, and members of the CSO String Quartet.  Tickets for the reception are $50, with all proceeds going to support WDAV.
