Dream Big opens up a world populated by pachyderms, Sherpas, isopods, and nandina berries. “Elefunks” get down low in Borneo, and Yaks wander with the Dalai Lama. The predominant theme underlying the concert’s lively verbal gymnastics and colorful imagery is that of aspiration. Roger urges kids to reach their potential by using “body and brain, mind and muscle.” His intent is to empower children to follow their dreams and to support parents in their hopes that children will make a positive impact on the world.
